Shrujal Parikh

Vice President - Taxation

Shrujal is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of experience and specializes in tax & regulatory aspects. He has extensive experience in handling M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, corporate & international tax, tax litigation, and both inbound and outbound advisory. His expertise also includes the Foreign Exchange Management Act, the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other allied laws.

Before joining Plutus, Shrujal served as a Director at Aurtus Consulting, where he played a key role in advising a broad spectrum of clients across various industries. He has also been part of Dhruva Advisors, KPMG, and Nexdigm in the past.

Jayant Mehta

Executive Director- Banking & Treasury

Jayant is a seasoned banker with more than two decades of extensive experience in various facets of banking. His unique skill set enables him to deliver comprehensive solutions to institutions, covering all aspects such as asset management, liability management, fund raising, online solutions and transaction banking. He excels in conceptualizing and offering tailored banking solutions that meet the specific needs of the portfolio companies.

 

Before joining Plutus, Jayant served as the Senior Vice President at HDFC Bank Limited. Jayant holds a Bachelor of Science degree from MLS University and an MBA in Finance.

Lt Col Ipsa Ratha (Retd)

Vice President – Human Resources

Lt Col Ipsa Ratha has over 25 years of experience in various HR appointments in the Indian Army and in the corporate sector. In these key appointments, she has played an instrumental role in setting up of processes, change management and HR operations which have ensured performance management/enhancement, leadership development programmes, enhanced onboarding processes and employee relations.

Before joining Plutus, Ipsa was leading talent acquisition for JLL India, a real estate MNC where she contributed significantly to team building, reducing the employee attrition, and significantly decreasing the hiring TAT

Atul Gosavi

Assistant Vice President - Investments

Atul has over 5 years of work experience across business development, category management, management consulting and digital commerce. In his last role, He had worked with E&Y India as a senior business consultant in Consumer products & retail industry.

Atul has completed his MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai after pursuing his B.Tech from COEP Technological University, Pune.

Vivek Toshniwal

Chief Executive Officer

Vivek has over 15 years of holistic equity capital market experience. Prior to joining Plutus, he was the Executive Director and Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets – Investment Banking, at Axis Capital Limited, where he successfully led and executed over 100+ capital market transactions including some of India’s most marquee deals. Under Vivek’s leadership, the equity capital market business of Axis Capital won various global awards and recognition.

Prior to joining Axis Capital in 2011, he worked with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

He is currently a member of the examination committee of NISM for Merchant Banking Certification.

He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and is a Chartered Accountant.

Akshay Pawar

Assistant Vice President- Investments

Before joining Plutus, Akshay was the Chief of Staff at an early-stage supply chain-as-a-service startup in the infrastructure materials industry. He has over 5 years of diverse experience across banking and finance, strategy and operations, and business development.  


Akshay holds an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai, and a B.Tech from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai.

Shivangi Bhatia

Vice President - Investments

Before joining Plutus in March 2021, Shivangi held credit underwriting roles in various banks and NBFCs. She has worked in the field of finance for over eight years. Previously, she was a credit underwriting manager at ICICI Bank.

Shivangi is a CA affiliated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute, USA.

Ravish Mehta

Vice President - Investments

Ravish has a decade of experience in credit rating, corporate finance, and investment banking. Before joining Plutus in May 2022, he was a Senior Rating Analyst with ICRA Ltd, a Moody’s Investor Services Company, where he rated and monitored portfolio debt worth over INR 450 billion across diverse industries. He has co-authored various period research publications in ICRA and previously worked in a boutique investment banking firm that exposed him to Indian capital markets. He’s also been part of the corporate finance team at Adani Power Ltd and Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd.

Ravish completed his Bachelor in Commerce from Gujarat University and is a Chartered Account who secured the 40 th All-India rank in CA Final. He is also a CFA Level 3 candidate.

Ashish Agarwal

Principal – Investments

Ashish has worked in the equity investments space for the last decade and a half. Over that time, he’s held several positions in private equity and venture capital funds and investment bank. His diverse past provides him with full-cycle experience, from sourcing, managing to exiting equity investments across multiple sectors in the country. At Plutus, he works on exploring white spaces , evaluating and concluding investments in equities across spectrum, monitoring the portfolio, overseeing the diligence and legal documentation, etc.

Ashish completed his MBA with a focus on Finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Science in Mumbai after pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. A noir and neo-noir aficionado, he firmly believes in the Law of Karma and in acting with compassion.

Vivek Chopra

Executive Director – Investments

Vivek has held numerous industry CXO and consulting roles over the last 15 years. In these key positions, he has played an instrumental role in multiple large-scale business transformation journeys, some of which culminated in strategic exits. Before joining Plutus, Vivek served as the CEO of Phab, a brand focused on creating affordable health snacks, and the COO of Havmor Ice Cream Limited. While consulting with Accenture Strategy, he worked with CXOs in the consumer goods and automotive industries, helping them chalk out and implement strategic initiatives for sustainable growth and profitability.

Vivek’s ability to juggle between long-term strategic requirements and last-level operational complications makes him ideally suited to guide our portfolio companies as they scale up. After completing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, he completed his PGDM from IIM – Indore.

Nikhil Godika

Executive Director – Investments

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Nikhil has held several roles and consulted companies across diverse industries. Before joining Plutus, he functioned as the CFO of Jaipur-based MRS Group, a diversified business group with interests in hospitality, real estate, infrastructure and more. As part of his responsibilities, he played a crucial role in group restructuring, value creation, negotiations, and analysing new opportunities. Previously, he was a part of the PwC M&A Tax practice for over half a decade, advising clients on transactions, financial restructurings, and divestitures from a tax and regulatory perspective.

Arpit Khandelwal

Managing Partner

Arpit, Managing Partner and co-founder of Plutus Wealth Management LLP, is based out of Dubai. He has been an active and passionate investor in Indian market since his college days in Delhi.

After a brief stint in the Indian market, he moved to London and completed his Masters in Financial Markets and Derivatives, from the coveted London Metropolitan University.

Arpit has invested in multiple private and public companies in India and globally. Some of his notable investments include Nazara Technologies, Credable, Inventys and RateGain.

Arpit strongly believes in practicing empathetic leadership by maintaining a real connection within the workplace. He works towards developing strategic and dynamic leaders and considers it imperative to foster organizational growth.

Ramesh K. Siyani

Partner and Strategic Advisor

A lawyer by profession, Ramesh has over three decades of experience providing legal advice in complicated land disputes. His passion for problem-solving and unique approach to business sparked his interest in the securities market, commodities and real estate.


In his role as partner, he relies on his strategic leadership skills and sharp business acumen to manage our operations across cities. Ramesh also provides a strategic angle to our decision-making framework.


An ethical leader, Ramesh believes in holistic decision-making. He communicates effectively and relies on his strong problem-solving skills to widen Plutus’ organisational horizons.
